Someone begins a khatam — for a parent, for a marriage, for no reason but the love of it. Thirty people, anywhere in the world, each take one para. When the last para is read, the khatam is complete, and it belongs to all of them.

How it works
One reading, thirty readers.
A khatam is one complete reading of the Quran. Khatmly splits it along its natural seams — the thirty paras — so a whole community can carry it together.
First
Someone begins a khatam
They give it a name and, if they like, a dedication — a du'a for someone unwell, a new baby, a wedding, a loss. Then they claim the first para themselves. A khatam only opens to the world once its starter has begun reading.
Then
You claim a para
Pick any open para and choose your reading window — one hour up to five. You hold one para at a time. Read it in the app or from your own mushaf; when you finish, mark it done. If life gets in the way, the para simply returns to the pool for someone else.
Finally
The khatam completes
When the thirtieth para is marked done, everyone who took part is told the khatam is complete. Thirty strangers, one reading, one shared reward — insha'Allah.

A clean Quran reader

Principles
Some things we refuse to build.
Worship is not a game, and an app that touches it should know its place. These are commitments, not settings.
No leaderboards with names
Nobody can see how much you read, and you can't see anyone else's count. The only numbers we show are collective and anonymous — what the whole community read, never who read it.
No streaks, badges, or points
Nothing nags you, nothing gamifies your recitation, nothing manufactures guilt when you miss a day. Read for the sake of Allah, not for a flame icon.
No surveillance of your reading
Marking a para done is on your honor. We don't track your scroll, time your pages, or make you prove anything. That matter was never ours to check.
No trading in your data
Your information is not a product. We don't sell it, and no data broker or analytics middleman will ever see it.
